UniKL were awarded a penalty corner in the 33rd minute, but nothing changed in their approach as the attempt was futile and SSTMI almost made them pay the price as the counter attacked only to fumble at the end.

SSTMI led 1-0 at halftime, and UniKL did not help their own cause as they fumbled at set pieces.

UniKL were awarded their fifth penalty corner in the 44th minute but they once again failed to get a shot on goal, much top the anguish of their fans. And SSTMI almost punished them as they were awarded a penalty corner two minutes later that was kept out by Fitri.

In the 66th minute UniKL were awarded their eight penalty corner and they failed to make it count as the ball was scurried away by the SSTMI defenders.

And the very next minute it was the ninth penalty corner, with the same end result.

Meanwhile in the match to decide third placing, MBI Anderson edged SSTMI Junior 3-2 via a golden goal scored by Abdul Rauf Mohd Nazri in the 77th minute.

MBI had taken the lead in the 8th minute through Mohd Soffian Kamaruddin only for SSTMI to draw level in the 33rd minute through Azhad Akmal Mohd Fahmi.

Danial Asyraf Abdul Ghani gave the sourtherners the lead in the 56th minute and just when SSTMI thought they had done enough to secure third place N. Kartigen scored a minute before the end of regulation time.
